I LOVE playing and teaching music. But, it wasn't always easy for me. For years it was a frustrating mystery. Books, magazines, videos, and the neighborhood guitar teacher didn't help me unravel this mystery. To overcome this I worked hard, studied at two of the world's premier music schools, and studied with master musicians. In doing so I learned I had developed a passion for teaching music and alleviating any frustrations OR apprehensions others have towards it. Music doesn't have to be a mystery. It should be fun. I've seen music build confidence, self esteem, manage stress, and make lifelong friendships.
Through my years of experience, I’ve gained a reputation to help my students obtain great results and excel in a variety of styles and instruments--rock, blues, jazz, country, and metal are just the start.

I have a solid basis in music education. I've studied at the famed Musicians Institute in LA and the Berklee College of Music where I received the Celebrity Online Music Scholarship. I was especially fortunate to study with session ace Dan Gilbert, fusion luminary Scott Henderson, and jazz legend Gary Burton. I'm also a graduate of an eighty hour teaching class certified by the Los Angeles Unified School District. I was also the recipient of the 2012 Guitar Center Customer Service Award. I know music, I know how to teach, and I bring an excellent customer service track record.
